IS POST-ROMANCE FRIENDSHIP POSSIBLE?

"Can we still be friends?"..it sounds straightforward enough, but is there any substance to this classic breakup cliche? The reasons for the split will ultimately determine whether post-romance friendship is possible…and when.

FRIENDSHIP IS POSSIBLE IF…

U and ur ex had an amicable split in which both of you acknowledged and accepted that u had grown apart, friendship could be the likely outcome.
U wer more like brother and sister, stand a good chance of maintaining a friendship as long as the breakup was handled with honesty and respect.
Ur having someone u can call on anytime for anything is a real blessing in this life.

SIGNS U CAN BE FRIENDS WITH UR EXES:

Missing the conversation but could care less about seeing ur ex naked.
Realized why he /she wasn’t right for and have moved on.
Can drink with him under the table and not winding up between the sheets..you know what i mean!!
and if ur happy to hear that he/she dating again and wish him/her all the best.

IT’S TIME TO CUT THE CORD IF….

U wer co-dependent. The hardest relationship tie to sever is one where a level of co-dependency existed. Mind games, bad behavior, breakups and makeups are all trademarks of co-dependent relationship and no basis for a lasting friendship.
U wer treated badly, exes who wer manipulative, self-obsessed,unreliable or just not that nice aren’t going to be much better as friends. The longer u keep these selfish types around, the longer it will take to find someone who will treat u right.
Ur relationship was just sex or physical relationship, sadly, there’s not much left to salvage in the friendship department.

SIGNS U CAN’T BE FRIENDS WITH UR EXES:

when u see someone who looks like ur ex.
when u get physically ill when u hear he/she met someone new.
when u lie to ur family and friends about seeing ur exes because u know they won’t approve.
lastly, when u find urself calling at odd hours, emailing non-stop, or worse, hanging around outside ur exes workplace or home.

There are no rules about staying friends with someone who was once something more to u. However, an honest appraisal of the true nature of ur relationship is what’s required to determine if an exes can-and should-make the transition from bed buddy to best buddy.

SO WHEN U HEAR THESE FAMOUS LAST WORDS "CAN WE STILL BE FRIENDS," THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE AGREEING. SOMETIMES, SOMEONE IS AN "EX" FOR A VERY GOOD REASON.^_^

Early morning coffee, sweetened with your kisses.
The morning paper being only something to peek over and around.

on their way to the intended, as we pretended to be reading.

This love has indeed traveled such a wonderful journey.

What’ life without you?

How could I live without you?

You’re my light, you’re my soul

First time we met we’re like strangers in many ways

When you’re away, it feels like I’m the only person in this world

When near, it feels like I’m in heaven with you my love

When I’m lost you’re always there to guide me

Oh, those were the happy times

But now you passed away

What’s the meaning of life?

Should I go on or just stop?

Or should I find another one like you>

If you think it’s easy for me

ika’y dumating ng walang pasabi

akin namnag naramdamang ika’y mabuti

ng ika’y kumatok, agad kitang pinapasok

at hindi mapipigilan ang damdaming bumulusok

marami tayong pinagdaanan

hindi maitatangging maganda ang pinagsamahan

kahit ang puso’y dahil sayo’y nalulumbay

hindi dapat humantong sa pagakawalay

maraming pangarapp sa ati’y nabuo

subait, gumuho rin nang ako’y iwan mo

simple lamng iyon at mabilisang nawala

sa isang idlap lang nawala sa isang kisapmata

sa iyo naranasan ang tunay na pagmamahal

bakit ikaw din ang maghahantong sa akin ng kasawian?

gusto ko na lamng sumigaw at magsisi

kung bakit ang lahat ng ito’y kailangang mangyari

nagtatanong ang puso kung sko ba’y minahal?

sa akin liwanagin dahil ako’y naguguluhan

I keep on wondering

why this feeling for you wont die

I want to forget you, yes i tried!

But memories keep on hunting me in my heart

I tried to be happy with all my friends around me

Pretending your not beside me

How i wish that you could see

Just how much you mean to me

You were special part of my past

That i lost so fast

And when you left me, i was hurting

We’ve been together for more than a year

Shared so much laughter and tears

But with a snap of my fingers, youre gone

Don’t know whose to blame, what have i done?

How it feel like my worlds going to die

I’m left here and all i can do is cry

Things change and now im free

But still, i feel incomplete
